The 319 Bistro is located in the heart of downtown Wausau, one block south of the Grand Theater and the iconic 400 Block. Inside you’ll find a unique, warm and welcoming atmosphere, filled with walls of eclectic local art. The dining room holds with vintage chairs and tables, all set with assorted cloth napkins, placemats and period glass ware. The bistro features an ever changing selection of homemade soups, salads, sandwiches and ice-cream so you’ll always find something new and delicious on the menu. Chef speciality sandwiches include blackened roast beef, BBQ pulled pork and fruity, nutty chicken. The produce is market fresh and comes from local merchants whenever possible. Owner John Van Slate brings over 20 years of culinary experience to the bistro, putting his special gourmet touches on all the house sauces and dressings.
