Get ready to try out some of the best dishes downtown restaurants have to offer during Wausau's Downtown Dining Week.
The downtown week of local eats was so popular last spring that the Wausau River District, a downtown nonprofit that advocates for businesses, is bringing back the event for the second time this year, said executive director Liz Brodek.
From Oct. 16 through Oct. 20, select restaurants will offer three-course, price-fixed menus. Twelve restaurants will participate:
- 319 Bistro
- Back When Café
- City Grill
- La Prima
- J. Gumbo's
- Malarkey's Pub and Townies Grill
- The Mint Cafe
- Polito's Pizza
- The Paisley Mug
- Peking Restaurant
Restaurants will offer lunch menus for $7 to $15 and dinner menus from $12 to $35, according to a press release from the River District. Some restaurants will create completely new menu items for the week-long event, while others will highlight customer favorites.
