Daly's, a new restaurant in downtown Wausau, celebrated its grand opening with food, drinks, and live music.
Daly's owner, James Daly, wanted to bring a big city feel to his new restaurant with live musicians, and plenty of food and drink options.
Muscian Marty Sammon was present at the opening. He has performed across the country and made a special visit to the Wausau area for this opening.
"Especially a multi-cultural family like this, I think music is a key element to that it brings people together who normally wouldn't shake each others hands. And to do that over food- its the oldest tradition in the world, ain't it?" said musician Marty Sammon.
The restaurants hopes to bring more people downtown and the Wausau mall. The grand opening was packed with community members and spirits ran high all through the night.
